GCP is building out specialized capability to diagnose, test and program modules outside the vehicle.
This lets us work with electronic components independently, without depending on having the complete vehicle available.
Testing a module on the bench answers a question the vehicle cannot: is this unit actually bad? We simulate the signals it expects — sensors, accelerator pedal, actuators — and watch what it does, so a module is confirmed good or bad before it costs anyone downtime or the price of a part that was never the problem.
